Tire Inflator Observations
The tire inflator performed well. I inflated four tires (P 215 / 60 R 16) from 16.5 psig to 32 psig in about 20 minutes using a fully charged battery. During inflation, the battery charge indicator dropped to half charge. So, additional inflation was possible. The speed of inflation remained constant during the entire time. Recharging the battery to full charge, after inflating the four tires, took about three hours.What surprised me was that the inflator operated much louder than expected. The inflator’s Amazon specs indicate 60 db, but my db meter said it was 86 db at 2 feet from the inflator. So, I’d recommend using some hearing protection when using it.The inflator was easy to use. However, if left on the ground, not held, it tended to bounce around a bit. So, I’d recommend saving the foam pad that comes in the inflator’s box and using it to cushion the inflator, when it is not being held.The inflator’s dimensions are 1.75″ T X 2.75″ W X 6.25″ L, which are less than the dimensions stated on the Amazon website. The inflator weighs 1.0 lbs.I liked that when the inflator reached the preset pressure, in my case 32 psig, automatically shutting down, that when the “gas tube” was released from the tire valve, it popped off the valve and no tire pressure was lost. The “gas tube” did get warm, but not so hot that it could not be handled after filling each tire.I recommend this inflator with the caveat that it is loud (86 db), not the advertised 60 db.

Well built. Great value.
I should have bought this a long time ago! Works perfectly with a very easy and intuitive design. I use it for bicycle and car tires. The bikes need topping-off fairly frequently. I also keep this in my bike trunk along with a tube patch kit. Almost as compact as a mini hand pump but a lot better at getting the job done. It does heat up a bit, but not dangerously. Seems well built.

This little air compressor gets the job done. It’s small, quiet (for an air compressor), and is light. It will easily fit in your spare tire well, glove box, or back pack. But the best part is that it has a 90 degree quick connect unlike some others on the market that you have to screw on to the valve stem. You can preset the desired pressure and it automatically turns off at that PSI which is great. It does get warm when in use, so maybe let it sit for a few mins before putting it back in the bag, but for topping off car tires, pumping up bikes, and inflating balls, it seems to do it relatively quickly and with ease.
