At Kalispell e-Bike Rentals, we want every customer to have a safe and enjoyable adventure. To ensure fairness and protection for both our guests and our company, the following terms apply to all rentals:

Liability

• By renting equipment, you acknowledge that outdoor recreation carries inherent risks. Kalispell e-Bike Rentals is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage that may occur during your use of rental equipment.
• Riders are solely responsible for operating all rented equipment in a safe and lawful manner, following Montana traffic laws, trail rules, and posted regulations.
• Helmets are strongly recommended (and provided when applicable). Riders under 18 are required to wear helmets.
• Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kalispell e-Bike Rentals, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from use of the equipment.

Damage & Loss

• The renter is financially responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment that occurs during the rental period, regardless of fault.
• Normal wear and tear (e.g., minor scratches, scuffs, or tire tread use) is not considered damage.
• Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow instructions will be charged to the renter at the cost of repair or replacement.
• If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, the renter will be charged the full replacement value.
• Any equipment returned excessively dirty (mud, sand, debris, etc.) may be subject to a cleaning fee.

Security Deposit / Payment

• A valid credit card is required at the time of rental. The renter authorizes Kalispell e-Bike Rentals to charge the card for any damage, loss, or additional fees.
• Final inspection of equipment will occur upon return. Customers will be notified of any charges within 48 hours.

Responsibility for Others

• The renter is responsible for ensuring that all members of their party (including minors) comply with this policy.
• Equipment may not be loaned, sub-rented, or transferred to any other person without prior written consent from Kalispell e-Bike Rentals.
